TypingMania: Bouken Desho Desho?
TypingMania is an online Flash game where you type out the lyrics of the song that you selected. The objective is to type as quickly and accurately as possible. You are only allowed to type the current lyric line shown, whose start and end times are synchronized to the music. TypingMania is vaguely similar to other games set to music, such as Dance Dance Revolution, beatmania, O2Jam.
The first and only time I played this game was in 2007-04, getting hooked for just one day. I found that the song Bouken Desho Desho? was of appropriate difficulty for me, so I practiced it about ten times and then recorded a video of myself pwning it.
My use of the Dvorak keyboard layout plays no small part in my being able to type quickly, accurately, and ergonomically.
